_{god it's been too long!

so my last update was November 22nd. So long ago! A HOUSE AGO. I WAS SIXTEEN THEN.

SO today's my seventeenth birthday, BUT MORE ON THAT LATER.

So I moved four days after my last update. yep. My room still isn't completely unpacked but idgaf.

So basically, I won't bore you to death with a lengthy journal about my life. I had a fun two months and that's all that matters. I hope you all had a good Christmas/whatever and a happy new year so far. I am. It's pretty cool.

I've gotten some pretty cool stuff over the past two months too. Lots of Disney Art Books, new color pencils, videogames, etc etc. Some shit I bought and some was given to me.

Oh and because I do this "what I gave" thing every year, I gave my family for christmas:
-Mom: Charlie Brown Christmas DVD/CD, Starbucks $5 gift card
-Dad: Inception DVD
-Nick: Pretty Hate Machine remastered, socks, Treble Clef ornament
-Vin: Mario Allstars 25th Anniversary bundle

_{_{for christmas, I got: owl pjs, owl ornament, unoffical harry potter cookbook, scott pilgrim DVD, chocolate orange, epic mickey, professor layton and the diabolical box, 48ct prisma colours, ilovelucy music box, socks, and toystory3 dvd/brd/digcopy with talking buzz doll. a few days later i went out and got: new vans sneakers, professor layton and the unwound future, two body sprays (snowkissedberry and secretwonderland) and two hallmark ornamnets (tinkerbll2010 and alice). nick also gave me a cameo brooch that was left on his keyboard at a gig. i also got four disney art books that were supposed to be for christmas but they didnt arrive in time (two snowwhite books, the disney villain, and lionking.)}}

and then it was the new year!

and now i'm seventeen!

So today I spent my day staying up till 5am on the phone/watching Scott Pilgrim. Then I passed out for a while and kept turning my alarm off and eventually rolled out of bed around 1130. then i had to wait for dad to boot up so he could cook me my birthday breakfast (OMFG BERRY PANCAKES BEST EVER). then i just pissed about for a while on tumblr and watched the beginning of howl's moving castle. then i stalked the internet some more. then was dinner (baked ziti, salad) and cake (rainbow apparently.) and then gifts.

For gifts I got a Howl's Moving Castle art book (fkdsjalkjfkasdjf <3) and a new
fucking
tablet.

But! This also marks a sad occasion. It means I must finally lay Dexter to rest. you were a good friend! you stood by me faithfully for four years, even after i snapped your pen in half. i'll never forget you.

i can't wait to draw things and do stuff and OMG its gonna be so awesome.
it needs a name. SUGGESTIONS?

but not tonight. tonight, i pass out. and catch up on sleep. finally.

in other news: i start school on the twentyfourth. huh.

in other other news: i bought hotel dusk a few weeks ago and barely played it cause i'm scared it's gonna suck. have you played it? is it good?
